Well, you can get into <http://svn.osqa.net> and then you can subscribe to the rss feed using the tools menu in the top right.
There is no stable release yet, we're still finishing our first one. As for "knowing" which version you're using, well one thing is for sure, you're running a development version :-) . But we'll start showing the svn the build number somewhere in the admin area or something so you can easily know which build you're using.
You can always use the command
svnversion st the root of the project to know at which revision you are.
